Camera help and diagnostics
Open Camera Lab directly in a normal browser tab. Firefox and Brave also need camera access enabled at both the site and phone level. In-app browsers may restrict cameras. If access was denied previously, allow the camera in your browser’s site settings and your phone’s app permissions. A permission prompt may not reappear after a saved decision. On Android: Settings → Apps → your browser → Permissions → Camera. On iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera, and allow your browser if listed.
Gesture recognition
Model-supported gestures: open palm, closed fist, pointing up, thumbs-up, thumbs-down, victory, and the I-love-you handshape. Additional geometric estimates: OK, rock, and call-me handshapes. These are gesture labels, not sign-language sentence translations.
